Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Carlisle Howarth made the kick off which started today's match. Curtis Waller's late challenge caught a Lyrup's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Curtis Waller helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th minute, Curtis Waller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jenkins Mccarthy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benson Adair, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Lyrup booed when Binnu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Connor Schonke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jenkins Mccarthy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregory Quinane in the 13th minute of play. Gregory Quinane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Jenkins Mccarthy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16thth minute of the game Benson Adair who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Binnu's Jenkins Mccarthy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gregory Quinane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlisle Howarth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Gregory Hollis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Curtis Waller hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Jenkins Mccarthy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benson Adair, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Lyrup's zone, Carlisle Howarth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregory Hollis came out of the goal and Carlisle Howarth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Connor Schonke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Lyrup getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Ned Reilly hit a great ball. Gregory Hollis was a little too slow when Carlisle Howarth got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 48th minute. The score was now 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Benson Adair made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Benson Adair managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lyrup's supporters rose to their feet, but Benson Adair was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jenkins Mccarthy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 55 minutes into the game, Preston Limmer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Binnu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lyrup the free kick. Gregory Hollis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlisle Howarth, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. If Benson Adair had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Binnu's Carlisle Howarth in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lyrup's goalie prevented a goal. Binnu's Jenkins Mccarthy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Binnu from getting a goal against them. If Benson Adair had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 72 minutes, Carlisle Howarth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Binnu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlisle Howarth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Carlisle Howarth came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Binnu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlisle Howarth couldn't finish the play. If Curtis Waller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Binnu's Jenkins Mccarthy got control of the ball when Gregory Quinane tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jenkins Mccarthy was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Benson Adair showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 81 minute of play. A collision led to Binnu getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Duncan Sugden hit a great ball. Lyrup's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Arty Ceney in the 94th minute. Arty Ceney made a great header on Lyrup's corner, it was just that Binnu's Jenkins Mccarthy managed to reach the ball for a save.
