Shepparton's Martin White played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allen King in the 28th minute of play. But to his dismay, Everitt Bacon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Rusty Kerville who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Martin White when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rusty Kerville sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benedict Addison made a kick off. Martin White showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rusty Kerville in the 54th minute of the match. The Relaxmore FC fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Relaxmore FC's Rusty Kerville looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 60 minutes into the game, Rusty Kerville cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Martin White was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 65th minute, Rusty Kerville left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Relaxmore FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Shepparton! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rusty Kerville in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin White prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Rusty Kerville had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, Shepparton's goal looked a bit too open when Everitt Bacon came free, but Martin White reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin White showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rusty Kerville in the 80th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the game, Peter Clist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Shepparton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Relaxmore FC the free kick. Peter Clist hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Rusty Kerville sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benedict Addison blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roland Mcjenkins having to make a save. Martin White showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rusty Kerville in the 95th minute of the match. In the 96thth minute of the game Benedict Addison who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Relaxmore FC's Roland Mcjenkins was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 98th minute, Rusty Kerville left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Relaxmore FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Relaxmore FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
