Brayden Fessey really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, Westmead's Bo Smee sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Berke Beckwith narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Samuel Dollymore successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Westmead's Abbott Waterland got a free kick in the 16th minute. Ryan Mcmahon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Samuel Dollymore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brayden Fessey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Berke Beckwith showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brown Millar in the 26th minute of the match. Abbott Waterland hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Berke Beckwith didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brown Millar went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Raleigh Solomon hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Goolwa's Samuel Dollymore threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Brayden Fessey, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Samuel Dollymore made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Ryan Mcmahon sent off a good shot on target. Brayden Fessey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brayden Fessey stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Samuel Dollymore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryan Mcmahon, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Berke Beckwith made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Randall Dearn sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raleigh Solomon in the 59th minute of play forced Westmead's goalkeeper Samuel Dollymore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th match minute, Goolwa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alford Nurthen to maneuver through the defense. Brown Millar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Berke Beckwith firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ryan Mcmahon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Samuel Dollymore having to make a save. Bo Smee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. After having played for 74 minutes, Bo Smee managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Westmead's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bo Smee was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Dallas Block fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Goolwa's protests and gave Dallas Block a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th minute, Dallas Block hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
