In the 21st minute, Jarrett Cookesley made a precise shot to the right of Ren Didlock. Guilford's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Ren Didlock was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Justin Monck capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Justin Monck really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Burtt Norden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Boyde Watts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boyde Watts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelius Colman in the 30th minute of the match. If Burtt Norden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cornelius Colman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Burtt Norden took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Boyde Watts to make any attempt to save it. In the 57thth minute of the game Cornelius Colman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eurelia's Boyde Watts was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 58 played minutes Eurelia got a freekick which was hit by Stan Marcola. If Cornelius Colman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guilford's Bran Lambourne was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Boyde Watts in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Boyde Watts made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Burtt Norden sent off a good shot on target. 77 minutes into the match, Eurelia's Justin Monck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ren Didlock narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cornelius Colman in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Boyde Watts prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stan Marcola during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Stewart Flesfadar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eurelia's supporters rose to their feet, but Stewart Flesfadar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ren Didlock breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Guilford players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Eurelia.
