Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Gunnamatta's Dallas Warren started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Michael Tout was a little too slow when Angelo Adair got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 5th minute. The score was now 1-0. 9 minutes into the match, Benjy Brophy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michael Tout. Gunnamatta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benjy Brophy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dallas Warren in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henry Hinwood saved Kooringal from getting behind. In the 14th minute Gunnamatta were awarded a corner. Archie Carragher went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Gunnamatta's corner Archie Carragher fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Henry Hinwood quite easily take care of the ball. Bryce Boserio kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Henry Hinwood showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cain Tenser, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Henry Hinwood made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dallas Warren in the 22nd minute of play. Dallas Warren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Hinwood having to interfere. When Dallas Warren came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Gunnamatta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dallas Warren couldn't finish the play. In the 35thth minute of the game Dallas Warren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kooringal's Henry Hinwood was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kooringal! In the 37th minute there was a penalty for Gunnamatta. Archie Carragher stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Henry Hinwood. 2-1. 41 minutes into the match, Kooringal's goal looked a bit too open when Dallas Warren came free, but Henry Hinwood reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Angelo Adair struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Michael Tout didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kooringal. In the 57th minute, Gunnamatta's Dallas Warren ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Henry Hinwood. Henry Hinwood yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Cain Tenser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Henry Hinwood tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute Dallas Warren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Hinwood saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 63 played minutes, Kooringal's Byrne Ambrose shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Michael Tout came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kooringal reached it. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gunnamatta's goalkeeper Michael Tout, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Gunnamatta's Zack Bowen got a free kick in the 67th minute. The supporters of Kooringal booed when Gunnamatta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurence Peplow didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Benjy Brophy notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Gunnamatta's Michael Tout. Michael Tout was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edwardo Galvin kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Archie Carragher was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 84th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Kooringal's goal looked a bit too open when Dallas Warren came free, but Henry Hinwood reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kenneth Day hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the match, Kooringal's goalkeeper Henry Hinwood had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cain Tenser. A collision led to Kooringal getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Marco Oreilly hit a great ball. A very nice done corner allowed Andre Twite to score against Henry Hinwood in Kooringal's goal. 3-3 after 93 minutes. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
