Bray Murphy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobie Bailey having to interfere. Barnes Willison made an important save on a dangerous shot by Burtt Laws in the 20th minute. If Everett Cookesley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. Everett Cookesley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Barnes Willison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th play minute Burtt Laws came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Barnes Willison. 2-0. Barnes Willison went to the wrong direction when Otto Whittington was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Burtt Laws received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Barnes Willison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Marms FC's zone, Burtt Laws stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barnes Willison came out of the goal and Burtt Laws tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Everett Cookesley in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Barnes Willison prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 56 minutes of play, Dwellingup's Fabrizio Bennett made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Barnes Willison was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Burtt Laws managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dwellingup's supporters rose to their feet, but Burtt Laws was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 86th minute of the match Bevis Edwards sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Barnes Willison skillfully saved the ball.
