Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Munroe Anders kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute, Andrews Spurr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute, Brendan Butterworth ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rod Mclatchey was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Dunbogan's Earl Beverley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnabas Sennett in the 12th minute of play. Barnabas Sennett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Earl Beverley having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Grimulators's zone, Brendan Butterworth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rod Mclatchey came out of the goal and Brendan Butterworth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rod Mclatchey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Munroe Anders, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After a rather tough play, Grimulators's Andrews Spurr got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Grimulators's Rod Mclatchey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brendan Butterworth in the 24th minute of play. Dunbogan's Brendan Butterworth got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Earl Beverley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barnabas Sennett, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. When Dunbogan's Brendan Butterworth in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Grimulators's goalie prevented a goal. In the 36th minute of the match Barnes Beverly sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Earl Beverley skillfully saved the ball. Rod Mclatchey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brendan Butterworth in the 38th minute of play. Barnabas Sennett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44 minutes of play, Grimulators's Carlos Barry made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Earl Beverley was left in no man's land by his defense there! The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Barnabas Sennett stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Dunbogan's goal looked a bit too open when Andrews Egel came free, but Earl Beverley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dunbogan's goalkeeper Earl Beverley, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carlos Barry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th match minute, Dunbogan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Howarth to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute of the match Barnes Beverly shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Earl Beverley showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Brendan Butterworth struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Rod Mclatchey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dunbogan. When Munroe Anders came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Dunbogan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Munroe Anders couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barnabas Sennett in the 72nd minute of play forced Dunbogan's goalkeeper Earl Beverley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Drew Schulze charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Drew Schulze the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 72 played minutes Dunbogan got a freekick which was hit by Drew Schulze. The audience was convinced that Carlos Barry's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Earl Beverley was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. After having played for 80 minutes, Munroe Anders managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dunbogan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Munroe Anders was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Earl Beverley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barnabas Sennett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, Munroe Anders got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dunbogan were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
