Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Earle Minne kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronald Porteus in the 9th minute of play forced Perth Lynx's goalkeeper Edison Fasey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 minutes, Artie Haslem mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Perth Lynx and the Yalpara players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Perth Lynx getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Artie Haslem hit a great ball. Edison Fasey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronald Porteus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brooks Mcgregor kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. If Larkin Park had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bent Pfingst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute Ronald Porteus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edison Fasey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Fabrizio Tout hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Larkin Park managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yalpara's supporters rose to their feet, but Larkin Park was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edison Fasey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute, Ronald Porteus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yalpara fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 39th minute Laurence Rennie suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Payne Grieve fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Perth Lynx's protests and gave Payne Grieve a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Perth Lynx getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Payne Grieve hit a great ball. In the 40th minute of the match Carson Schultz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edison Fasey skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Larkin Park during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, Yalpara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronald Porteus to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Yalpara were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ronald Porteus made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Perth Lynx was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artie Groves to maneuver through the defense. After 57 minutes of play Yalpara's Larkin Park was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 57th minute, Larkin Park hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the match, Brooks Mcgregor notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Perth Lynx's Edison Fasey. Edison Fasey was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Brooks Mcgregor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blade Serena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Earle Minne's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. When Meyer Delahide came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Yalpara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Meyer Delahide couldn't finish the play. Brooks Mcgregor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Edison Fasey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yalpara's Brooks Mcgregor got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Blade Serena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Earle Minne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the match, Earle Minne notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Yalpara's Blade Serena. Blade Serena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 82nd minute, Earle Minne made a precise shot to the right of Blade Serena. Yalpara's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Fabrizio Tout charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabrizio Tout the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Yalpara's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
