Andrews Auger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Best Mogork in the 12th minute. Best Mogork in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. The referee ignored Southern Sharks's protests and gave Karl Harkness a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th match minute, Southern Sharks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl Harkness to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the match, Southern Sharks's goal looked a bit too open when Edmonds Ayrton came free, but Brooker Weeks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cregan Kurth made a kick off. Brooker Weeks stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cregan Kurth's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Brooker Weeks was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cregan Kurth showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 65 minute of play. If Edmonds Ayrton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 71 minutes, Cregan Kurth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Broula's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cregan Kurth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Broula getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Thomas Owens hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Fraser in the 76th minute of play forced Broula's goalkeeper Andrews Auger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 83 minutes, Burns Lorenz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Southern Sharks and the Broula players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Southern Sharks fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 82nd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Broula a penalty, 84 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nichol Schutt, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Southern Sharks's Brooker Weeks. 0-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Broula eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
