The referee ignored Moonijin's protests and gave Nathan Ramsay a yellow card for diving instead. Nathan Ramsay hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Earlston's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmund Hanslow was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmund Hanslow stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rusty Mcenally fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmonds Hands having to interfere.
