Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Damon Barugh made the kick off and thus started the match. After having played for 8 minutes, Tommy Awege managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brinkley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tommy Awege was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, James Sibbold managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brinkley's supporters rose to their feet, but James Sibbold was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmonds Hands breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Earlston's zone, James Sibbold stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmonds Hands came out of the goal and James Sibbold tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Earlston's Edmonds Hands got control of the ball when James Sibbold tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edmonds Hands made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Awege in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Brinkley's Tommy Awege sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edmonds Hands narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Awege in the 31st minute of play forced Earlston's goalkeeper Edmonds Hands to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Awege fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmonds Hands having to interfere. James Sibbold kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. James Sibbold could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Edmonds Hands made a huge save. James Sibbold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tommy Awege fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmonds Hands having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tommy Awege got free with Edmonds Hands in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tommy Awege to strike the kick off in the second half. Brent Paull showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damon Barugh in the 52nd minute of the match. Damon Barugh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brent Paull having to interfere. Kelvin Nunn hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Brinkley's Bran Kidman tried to score from far away in the 61st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. James Sibbold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. James Sibbold struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Edmonds Hands didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brinkley. Edmonds Hands made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Awege in the 68th minute of play. Ollie Waterland shot from long distance in the 72nd minute, but Brent Paull was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. In the 73rd minute, Birrell Haslem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Damon Barugh came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Earlston fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damon Barugh couldn't finish the play. Brent Paull showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damon Barugh in the 80th minute of the match. 94 minutes into the game, Brinkley's Tommy Awege nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edmonds Hands made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Brinkley fully deserved thier win.
