Richard Durbin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudolph Powley, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Larkin Kean kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Bath Colman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rudolph Powley stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Rudolph Powley came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Brooklet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rudolph Powley couldn't finish the play. If Brendan Jobson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brendan Jobson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Richard Durbin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brooklet's Paul Weeks couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 77th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Stanley. Richard Durbin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brendan Jobson in the 85th minute of play. Brooklet's Damian Ross played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bath Colman in the 89th minute of play. After 90 minutes, Brye Feutrill mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brooklet and the Stanley players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 90 played minutes Brooklet got a freekick which was hit by Brye Feutrill. 93 minutes into the match, Brooklet's Brendan Jobson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Richard Durbin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Brooklet's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
