Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Glenpatrick's Ringo Bacon started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Zackery Howie fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Glenpatrick's protests and gave Zackery Howie a yellow card for diving instead. If Kirk Powell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jacob Teuma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Arkinstall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ringo Bacon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Ringo Bacon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, Glenpatrick's goalkeeper Neville Kepert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sabastian Seistrup. 34 minutes into the match, Ringo Bacon notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Gulginni's Jacob Teuma. Jacob Teuma was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jacob Teuma came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Glenpatrick's Dante Arkinstall. But to his dismay, Dante Arkinstall quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Jacob Teuma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Arkinstall in the 45th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Gulginni's Sabastian Seistrup sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Neville Kepert narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kirk Powell made a kick off. Dante Arkinstall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The attack was good, but when Ringo Bacon in the 55th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Dante Arkinstall who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Jacob Teuma when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kirk Powell in the 63rd minute of play forced Glenpatrick's goalkeeper Neville Kepert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kirk Powell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Neville Kepert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damon Muddle's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Jacob Teuma skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jacob Teuma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ringo Bacon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Logan Saisell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gulginni's goalkeeper Jacob Teuma, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A hard shot 86 in the game by Dante Arkinstall from a close distance when the talented Jacob Teuma managed to make a qualified save. Gulginni's players were relieved. Zackery Howie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Jacob Teuma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes in the game, Ringo Bacon fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jacob Teuma having to interfere. Ringo Bacon struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Jacob Teuma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glenpatrick. Glenpatrick's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
