The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aron Burton helped the player get up and apologised. After 4 played minutes Bredalbane got a freekick which was hit by Aron Burton. John Cookesleys short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Elliot Fitton to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Elliot Fitton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lance Goucher, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. The supporters of Glengower booed when Bredalbane was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalwood Millar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elliot Fitton was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Arnie Fordham. If John Cookesley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 17th match minute, Bredalbane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalwood Millar to maneuver through the defense. After 19 played minutes, Glengower's Arnie Fordham shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Elliot Fitton came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Glengower reached it. 26 minutes into the match, Glengower's goal looked a bit too open when Ozzie Hinder came free, but Eavan Vaisey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mack Copelin took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eavan Vaisey. Eavan Vaisey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. John Cookesley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Elliot Fitton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute there was a penalty for Glengower. Arnie Fordham stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Elliot Fitton. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mack Copelin in the 39th minute of play forced Glengower's goalkeeper Eavan Vaisey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. John Cookesley struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Elliot Fitton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glengower. After 42 played minutes Bredalbane got a freekick which was hit by Jacob Bodimeade. Ozzie Hinder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Eavan Vaisey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Glengower defense, Mack Copelin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eavan Vaisey. The Glengower fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eavan Vaisey should have stopped the shot. After the first half Bredalbane were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Bredalbane's zone, John Cookesley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elliot Fitton came out of the goal and John Cookesley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ozzie Hinder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. John Cookesley kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Eavan Vaisey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mack Copelin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Ozzie Hinder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bredalbane's supporters rose to their feet, but Ozzie Hinder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eavan Vaisey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mack Copelin in the 78th minute of play forced Glengower's goalkeeper Eavan Vaisey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eavan Vaisey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mack Copelin in the 79th minute of play. A collision led to Glengower getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Bernard Triplett hit a great ball. Elliot Fitton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Cookesley in the 84th minute of play. Elliot Fitton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lance Goucher in the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, John Cookesley made a precise shot to the right of Elliot Fitton. Bredalbane's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Glengower's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
