Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Phenix Glover made the kick off which started today's match. Roy Teuma struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Jordon Bohn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rockleigh. Ozzie Serena didn't quite understand what happened when in the 11 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After 12 played minutes Rockleigh got a freekick which was hit by Brandon Shirdon. After a defensive mix-up in Brookdale's zone, Roy Teuma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jordon Bohn came out of the goal and Roy Teuma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 19 minutes, Belton Barclay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brookdale and the Rockleigh players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th match minute, Brookdale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belton Barclay to maneuver through the defense. When Phenix Glover came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Rockleigh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Phenix Glover couldn't finish the play. Nelson Minter's late challenge caught a Rockleigh's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nelson Minter helped the player get up and apologised. Brookdale's Jordon Bohn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roy Teuma in the 23rd minute of play. After 30 played minutes Rockleigh got a freekick which was hit by Brandon Shirdon. Edmonds Muddle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aron Huther in the 32nd minute. In the 35th minute of the match Daniel Howard shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jordon Bohn showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Brookdale getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Nelson Minter hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the game, Roy Teuma cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jordon Bohn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Brookdale's Nelson Minter got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Rockleigh's Rick Hemsley couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 44th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Brookdale. In the 46th minute Roy Teuma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jordon Bohn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jordon Bohn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Phenix Glover in the 49th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olin Murphy was the one to do the kick off. Roy Teuma let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 56th minute shot 0-2 at rihgt post. Roy Teuma did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Jordon Bohn 61 minutes into the match. The corner led to Rockleigh's Roy Teuma getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Brookdale's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Phenix Glover 69 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. Aron Huther recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Olin Murphy came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Brookdale fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olin Murphy couldn't finish the play. In the 77th minute, Brandon Shirdon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roy Teuma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute Phenix Glover shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jordon Bohn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Phenix Glover managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rockleigh's supporters rose to their feet, but Phenix Glover was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jordon Bohn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roy Teuma's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Jordon Bohn skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Phenix Glover sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jordon Bohn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Phenix Glover in the 90th minute of play. Roy Teuma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jordon Bohn having to interfere. In the 94th minute Phenix Glover shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jordon Bohn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Brookdale fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Rockleigh were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
