Boyd Flisfeder's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Berke Hess read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Ringo Heys made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Tarrant. Eddington's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 31st minute, Lucas Lorenz made a precise shot to the right of Berke Hess. Collinsville's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After having played for 34 minutes, Matthew Sperling managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Collinsville's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matthew Sperling was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Collinsville's Matthew Sperling slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rolando Tarrant. That made the score 2-1 after 37 minutes of play. With a little luck, Eddington's Rolando Tarrant got control of the ball when Ringo Heys tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 41st minute, Dugald Warren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucas Lorenz in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Berke Hess saved Collinsville from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Downing Mapps during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Eddington fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! Bern Dearn shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Boyd Flisfeder made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Lucas Lorenz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eddington's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Lorenz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Berke Hess breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Matthew Sperling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Collinsville's Ringo Heys pulled a muscle in his back after 59 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 59 minutes of play Eddington's Downing Mapps was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of Eddington:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Collinsville:s goal. Matthew Sperling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Tarrant having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthew Sperling in the 66th minute of play forced Eddington's goalkeeper Rolando Tarrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Payne Powell's late challenge caught a Collinsville's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Payne Powell helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Eddington getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Payne Powell hit a great ball. After 70 minutes, Matthew Sperling made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Eddington's Rolando Tarrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Rolando Tarrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthew Sperling in the 74th minute of the match. Matthew Sperling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Tarrant having to interfere. When Payne Powell was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 78 minutes had been played. Payne Powell kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Matthew Sperling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Rolando Tarrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the game, Collinsville's Matthew Sperling nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolando Tarrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 86th minute, Matthew Sperling ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Tarrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Humphry Hunter succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 5-2 in the 91st playminute. After a rather tough play, Eddington's Hank Mcjenkins got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute Matthew Sperling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Tarrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eddington's Rolando Tarrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthew Sperling in the 97th minute of play. 99 minutes into the game, Hank Mcjenkins was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eddington's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Collinsville the free kick. In the 99th minute, one of Eddington:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Eddington. The referee gave Collinsville a penalty, 100 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bern Dearn, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Eddington's Rolando Tarrant. 6-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Eddington players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Collinsville.
