After a rather tough play, Collingwood's Bill Bacon got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute of the match Downing Mapps shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Berke Curtis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Berke Curtis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paul Whitsitt in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the game, Lucas Lorenz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Berke Curtis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 28 minutes into the match, Eddington's goal looked a bit too open when Berkeley Nurthen came free, but Rolando Tarrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucas Lorenz succeeded in the game's 32nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Collingwood's Berke Curtis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boyd Flisfeder in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Collingwood's goal looked a bit too open when Payne Powell came free, but Berke Curtis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Berke Curtis was a little too slow when Boyd Flisfeder got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boyd Flisfeder in the 45th minute of play forced Collingwood's goalkeeper Berke Curtis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Tarrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berke Sobezak in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Boyd Flisfeder made a kick off. Berke Curtis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humphry Hunter in the 55th minute of play. Berke Curtis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Lorenz, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Eddington's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Berke Sobezak scored to the left of an out of position Rolando Tarrant, making the score, 4-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Berke Sobezak in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Tarrant saved Eddington from getting behind. When Donovan Worsley came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Eddington fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donovan Worsley couldn't finish the play. 78 minutes into the match, Lucas Lorenz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Berke Curtis. Collingwood's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucas Lorenz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. 83 minutes into the game, Eddington's Payne Powell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Berke Curtis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. After having played for 89 minutes, Boyd Flisfeder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eddington's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boyd Flisfeder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Lorenz in the 89th minute of play forced Collingwood's goalkeeper Berke Curtis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Tarrant made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Berkeley Nurthen sent off a good shot on target. After 91 minutes, Paul Whitsitt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eddington and the Collingwood players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st match minute, Eddington was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Whitsitt to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Eddington's Payne Powell got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Berkeley Nurthen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eddington's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
