Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bryden Powell made the kick off which started today's match. In the 6th minute, Patrick Bohn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andre Staworowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bryden Powell in the 14th minute of the match. The supporters of Vineyard booed when Minnivale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joshua Hicks didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herman Beckwith kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Patrick Bohn hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Andre Staworowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bryden Powell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Bryden Powell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andre Staworowski. Minnivale's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bryden Powell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Mark Shortus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matthews Macumber got free with Humphry Collins in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30th minute, Patrick Bohn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Vineyard booed when Minnivale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joshua Hicks didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Bryden Powell came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Vineyard fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bryden Powell couldn't finish the play. Hale Lovis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andre Staworowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Hale Lovis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andre Staworowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bryden Powell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Andre Staworowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vineyard's Bryden Powell got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Vineyard were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mark Shortus was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Vineyard's Corey Bielski got a free kick in the 51st minute. Vineyard's Herman Beckwith suffered a sore thigh after 54 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Irwin Potter charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Irwin Potter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hale Lovis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patrick Bohn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Andre Staworowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vineyard's Hale Lovis got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Patrick Bohn left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vineyard fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Hale Lovis struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Andre Staworowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vineyard. Hale Lovis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Andre Staworowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Humphry Collins came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Minnivale's Matthews Macumber. But to his dismay, Matthews Macumber quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 85th minute, Mark Shortus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Humphry Collins was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bryden Powell in the 92nd minute of play forced Minnivale's goalkeeper Andre Staworowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Matthews Macumber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vineyard were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Minnivale to leave the ground with a draw.
