Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Adolph Walsh started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Keith Ryan struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Lance Playford didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sladevale. In the 3rdth minute of the game Adolph Walsh who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Henrietta's Lance Playford was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolph Walsh in the 5th minute of play forced Henrietta's goalkeeper Lance Playford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lance Playford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keith Ryan, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Keith Ryan sped through Henrietta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lance Playford. Clarke Weller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Starling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Henrietta's goal looked a bit too open when Adolph Walsh came free, but Lance Playford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 36 minutes, Keith Ryan made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Henrietta's Lance Playford tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Keith Ryan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Lance Playford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Sladevale were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
In the 53rd minute, Henrietta's Brandon Best seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Brandon Best the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Henrietta protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Brandon Best had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Cliff Gavin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clarke Weller having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sladevale's Edgar Burtt got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 65th minute Adolph Walsh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lance Playford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adolph Walsh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79thth minute of the game Adolph Walsh who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Henrietta's Lance Playford was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 81st play minutes Keith Ryan shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Lance Playford and just under the crossbar into goal. Chuck Crapp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lance Playford having to interfere. When Phenix Fitzsimmons fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Henrietta's protests and gave Phenix Fitzsimmons a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Henrietta's Phenix Fitzsimmons got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute, Edgar Burtt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Henrietta's goalkeeper Lance Playford, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sladevale's Keith Ryan got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Henrietta getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Boris Mcgaw hit a great ball. Sladevale's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
