Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Barnabas Barclay started the match with the kick off. Brian Greenan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barnabas Barclay in the 4th minute of play. In the 8th minute Barnabas Barclay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brian Greenan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Barnabas Barclay in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brian Greenan saved Coningsby from getting behind. Kirrabelah's Carlisle Soekirno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Loch in the 13th minute of play. When Paul Loch came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Coningsby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paul Loch couldn't finish the play. Barnabas Barclay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute Paul Loch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlisle Soekirno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Coningsby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jamie Tebbit to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Coningsby's zone, Barnabas Barclay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brian Greenan came out of the goal and Barnabas Barclay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Otto Tongs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Brian Greenan made a huge save. In the 35th minute, Daniel Pegrum hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Otto Tongs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Otto Tongs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brian Greenan having to interfere. Barnabas Barclay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Brian Greenan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paul Loch made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Kirrabelah's Otto Tongs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brian Greenan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 60 minutes, Barnabas Barclay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kirrabelah's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barnabas Barclay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brian Greenan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Otto Tongs went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 67 minutes into the game, Barnabas Barclay cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Brian Greenan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 70 minutes, Barnabas Barclay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kirrabelah's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barnabas Barclay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Coningsby's Brian Greenan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnabas Barclay in the 72nd minute of play. Brian Greenan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otto Tongs in the 80th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Kirrabelah's goalkeeper Carlisle Soekirno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bo Cave. Danny Leyden kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Paul Loch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brian Greenan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barnabas Barclay in the 92nd minute of the match. Otto Tongs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brian Greenan having to interfere. Kirrabelah's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
