Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Kangaloon's Ernest Ross started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Sam Maciver notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Kangaloon's Handley Mudie. Handley Mudie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 11th minute, Ernest Ross ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Archie Trims was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 16th match minute, Nelligen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Earnest Alcock to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute of the match Kirby Smee shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Archie Trims showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Archie Trims took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernest Ross, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sam Maciver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mack Neich in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Archie Trims, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 32ndth minute of the game Carver Saisell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kangaloon's Handley Mudie was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Handley Mudie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sam Maciver's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Mack Neich could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Archie Trims made a huge save. 40 minutes into the match, Kangaloon's goal looked a bit too open when Carver Saisell came free, but Handley Mudie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Handley Mudie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam Maciver in the 45th minute of play. Nelligen's Archie Trims played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zackery Jury in the 48th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sam Maciver stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sam Maciver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Handley Mudie having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernest Ross in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Archie Trims saved Nelligen from getting behind. A collision led to Nelligen getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Kris Hayman hit a great ball. Sam Maciver received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Handley Mudie came out and tried to block the shot, but Sam Maciver slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 61st minute. Archie Trims made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mack Neich in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernest Ross in the 71st minute of play forced Nelligen's goalkeeper Archie Trims to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Sam Maciver came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Nelligen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sam Maciver couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernest Ross in the 78th minute of play forced Nelligen's goalkeeper Archie Trims to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute Kangaloon were awarded a corner. Zackery Barclay went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Kangaloon's Zackery Barclay to fire away a dangerous shot which Archie Trims despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 80 played minutes Zackery Barclay shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Nelligen's Archie Trims to catch but Zackery Barclay was lucky. It became 2-2 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. In the 84th minute Sam Maciver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Handley Mudie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Nelligen's goal looked a bit too open when Mack Neich came free, but Archie Trims reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carver Saisell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Handley Mudie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Kirby Smee fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kangaloon's protests and gave Kirby Smee a yellow card for diving instead. 93 minutes into the match, Kangaloon's goal looked a bit too open when Sam Maciver came free, but Handley Mudie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kangaloon succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Nelligen had controlled the match.
