Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zackery Kuskop started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Kotara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lauder Bonnison to maneuver through the defense. Bartholemew Gronow might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gregg Potter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bartholemew Gronow ran back to his position shaking his head. If Zackery Kuskop had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Jerrard Colman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Nathaniel Plummer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Iggi Whittington fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yulgilbar's protests and gave Iggi Whittington a yellow card for diving instead. Iggi Whittington kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Zackery Kuskop fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The supporters of Yulgilbar booed when Kotara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarrod Conlin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lauder Bonnison during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Kotara getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Lauder Bonnison hit a great ball. Mark Serena's late challenge caught a Kotara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mark Serena helped the player get up and apologised. Nilson Ross fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grant Trevena having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nilson Ross was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Nilson Ross managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kotara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nilson Ross was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Grant Trevena successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Grant Trevena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacobs Stageman in the 59th minute. Jacobs Stageman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Grant Trevena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilson Ross in the 62nd minute of play forced Yulgilbar's goalkeeper Grant Trevena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jerrard Colman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jacobs Stageman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Nilson Ross reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Grant Trevena. The goal made the score 0-1. 83 minutes into the match, Yulgilbar's goal looked a bit too open when Nilson Ross came free, but Grant Trevena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th match minute, Yulgilbar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loyd Goldsmith to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Yulgilbar's zone, Jacobs Stageman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Grant Trevena came out of the goal and Jacobs Stageman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iggi Whittington kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Kotara's goal looked a bit too open when Zackery Kuskop came free, but Gregg Potter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kotara's Gregg Potter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zackery Kuskop in the 95th minute of play. The Kotara players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
