Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Barney Bostock kicked off to start the match. Andrew Sayner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Danny Orvad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Elliott Pears fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Koorway's protests and gave Elliott Pears a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gomersal booed when Koorway was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elliott Pears didn't get a good kick on the ball. Danny Orvad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barney Bostock in the 11th minute of play. After 11 minutes of play, Gomersal's Barney Bostock made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Danny Orvad was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jarrett Johnson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Buchanan Jackson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Koorway's Jesse Waters in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gomersal's goalie prevented a goal. Jarrett Johnson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Koorway's Danny Orvad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barney Bostock in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Andrew Sayner had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Danny Orvad. Koorway's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andrew Sayner was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Danny Orvad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barney Bostock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 34 played minutes Gomersal got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Howarth. After a defensive mix-up in Gomersal's zone, Jarrett Johnson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Buchanan Jackson came out of the goal and Jarrett Johnson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jesse Waters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Buchanan Jackson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 39 minutes, Jarrett Johnson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Koorway's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jarrett Johnson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Gomersal's goal looked a bit too open when Jarrett Johnson came free, but Buchanan Jackson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Buchanan Jackson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesse Waters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Gomersal's Andrew Sayner sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Danny Orvad narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When Jesse Waters came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Koorway fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jesse Waters couldn't finish the play. 60 minutes into the match, Koorway's goal looked a bit too open when Barney Bostock came free, but Danny Orvad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Andrew Sayner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Danny Orvad was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. In the 71st match minute, Koorway was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Handley Coldicutt to maneuver through the defense. Handley Coldicutt's late challenge caught a Gomersal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Handley Coldicutt helped the player get up and apologised. Andrew Sayner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Danny Orvad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Barney Bostock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jarrett Johnson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Buchanan Jackson having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Gomersal's goalkeeper Buchanan Jackson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jesse Waters. After having played for 96 minutes, Jarrett Johnson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Koorway's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jarrett Johnson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Gomersal fans cheered their team off the field, for while Koorway had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
