A collision led to Sydney SOKYO FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Dagan Leydin hit a great ball. Randolph Gwin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaffery Plank sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 18 minutes into the match, Sydney SOKYO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Randolph Gwin came free, but Lance Johnston reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Jaffery Plank got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sydney SOKYO FC's Lance Johnston proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Sydney SOKYO FC from getting a goal against them. After 27 played minutes Sydney SOKYO FC got a freekick which was hit by Bent Moorby. 28 minutes into the match, Brexit FC's Jaffery Plank broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Jaffery Plank hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sydney SOKYO FC's goalkeeper Lance Johnston, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lance Johnston took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Randolph Gwin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Everett could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Lance Johnston made a huge save. Jaffery Plank fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lance Johnston having to interfere. Barry Tearle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Jakobsson in the 46th minute of play. Randolph Gwin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 53rd match minute, Brexit FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joshua Brien to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Randolph Gwin in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lance Johnston prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Randolph Gwin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lance Johnston was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Brexit FC's Jaffery Plank got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Sydney SOKYO FC booed when Brexit FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joshua Brien didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Sydney SOKYO FC's Isaac Jakobsson broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 72 minutes into the match, Randolph Gwin notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Sydney SOKYO FC's Lance Johnston. Lance Johnston was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Randolph Gwin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Sydney SOKYO FC's zone, Randolph Gwin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lance Johnston came out of the goal and Randolph Gwin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Jaffery Plank managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brexit FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaffery Plank was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lance Johnston breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dagan Leydin charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dagan Leydin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dagan Leydin hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Isaac Jakobsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barry Tearle having to interfere. Lance Johnston took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Randolph Gwin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brexit FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
