Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Neale Howie made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 2nd minute, Edgar Ceney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ingham's Neil Leach got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rich Vaisey was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ren Atterton showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. Ingham's Rich Vaisey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ren Atterton in the 16th minute of play. When Ren Atterton came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Charlton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ren Atterton couldn't finish the play. Edgar Ceney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Rich Vaisey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Edgar Ceney managed to get in a good position for a shot. Charlton's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgar Ceney was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rich Vaisey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ingham's Rich Vaisey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Ingham from getting a goal against them. In the 34thth minute of the game Ren Atterton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ingham's Rich Vaisey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Neale Howie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Arkinstall having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Charlton's goal looked a bit too open when Neale Howie came free, but Bruno Arkinstall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neale Howie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ren Atterton to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bath Czaczka during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ingham's Bath Czaczka got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After 56 minutes of play Ingham's Bath Czaczka was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 56th match minute, Ingham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bath Czaczka to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Charlton's Edgar Ceney got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Edgar Ceney blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rich Vaisey having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ren Atterton in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rich Vaisey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 76 minutes into the match, Ren Atterton notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Ingham's Rich Vaisey. Rich Vaisey was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ren Atterton in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rich Vaisey saved Ingham from getting behind. Neil Leach blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bruno Arkinstall having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ren Atterton in the 90th minute of play forced Ingham's goalkeeper Rich Vaisey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neil Leach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pierre Markou charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pierre Markou the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ingham booed when Charlton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pierre Markou didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, Jamese Natt sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Charlton's Bruno Arkinstall didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ren Atterton in the 98th minute of play forced Ingham's goalkeeper Rich Vaisey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ingham's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Charlton had won, even though Ingham had held more of the ball.
