Neil Leach's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 3rdth minute, Chuck Beckwith skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Wolves FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Aaron Featon hit a great ball. When Neale Howie came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Ingham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Neale Howie couldn't finish the play. Ingham's Rich Vaisey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Art Mills in the 15th minute of play. After 20 played minutes, Wolves FC's Bryce Renshaw shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rich Vaisey came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Wolves FC reached it. The crowd rose to their feet as Ingham's Neale Howie slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Chuck Beckwith. That made the score 1-0 after 24 minutes of play. In the 27th of the match, Neale Howie tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Chuck Beckwith got in the way and made a wonderful save. Boyde Odd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neil Leach succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 35th playminute.
The wind increased when Neale Howie made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Wolves FC's Bryce Renshaw got a free kick in the 51st minute. Neale Howie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chuck Beckwith having to interfere. Wolves FC's Chuck Beckwith played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neil Leach in the 59th minute of play. In the 73rd match minute, Ingham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bern Claringbold to maneuver through the defense. If Neil Leach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ingham's Jamese Rafferty got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 88 minutes into the match, Wolves FC's goal looked a bit too open when Neale Howie came free, but Chuck Beckwith reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neil Leach struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Chuck Beckwith didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ingham. In the 91st minute, Neale Howie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Neale Howie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chuck Beckwith was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. After 97 minutes, Payne Jackson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ingham and the Wolves FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Art Mills sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ingham's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
