The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marcus Duggan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lauder Sobezak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd match minute, Nambucca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lauder Sobezak to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the match, Quakers Hill's goal looked a bit too open when Bart Coldicutt came free, but Marcus Duggan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Quakers Hill's Dante Willding threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Humphrey Rafferty, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 33rdth minute of the game Bart Coldicutt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quakers Hill's Marcus Duggan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcus Duggan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bart Coldicutt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Humphrey Rafferty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Willding having to interfere. The supporters of Quakers Hill booed when Nambucca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Behla didn't get a good kick on the ball. During the 44th minute of the match Jeffray Merz completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jeffray Merz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Quakers Hill's Jeffray Merz got a free kick in the 45th minute. Bart Coldicutt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Duggan having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Lauder Sobezak made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Quakers Hill's Barnabas Woodbridge got a free kick in the 51st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bart Coldicutt got free with Marcus Duggan in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcus Duggan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lauder Sobezak in the 54th minute of play. Nambucca's attack was well implemented in the 54th minute, but when Lauder Sobezak was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. After having played for 55 minutes, Bart Coldicutt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nambucca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bart Coldicutt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Quakers Hill's goal looked a bit too open when Lauder Sobezak came free, but Marcus Duggan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bart Coldicutt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcus Duggan having to make a save. Lauder Sobezak might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcus Duggan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lauder Sobezak ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcus Duggan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lauder Sobezak in the 69th minute of the match. If Bart Coldicutt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76thth minute of the game Lauder Sobezak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quakers Hill's Marcus Duggan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Quakers Hill's zone, Bart Coldicutt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcus Duggan came out of the goal and Bart Coldicutt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 78 minutes into the match, Bart Coldicutt notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Quakers Hill's Marcus Duggan. Marcus Duggan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 82 minutes into the match, Quakers Hill's goalkeeper Marcus Duggan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bart Coldicutt. After 88 played minutes Nambucca got a freekick which was hit by Joseph Alchin. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brandon Renney during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Quakers Hill booed when Nambucca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brandon Renney didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bart Coldicutt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quakers Hill's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Lauder Sobezak 95 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. Nambucca's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
