One of Kewell:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Biala:s goal. Kewell's Carter Glover played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humphrey Johnston in the 23rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kewell's Jordon Smoothey got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Carter Glover didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Humphrey Johnston went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Baxter Adair received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Matthew Ryan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34thth minute of the game Ryan Bowman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Biala's Matthew Ryan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Rex Nelson sped through Kewell's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carter Glover. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humphrey Johnston in the 47th minute of play forced Kewell's goalkeeper Carter Glover to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ryan Bowman made a kick off. Keefer Hayman kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Baxter Adair's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Matthew Ryan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Matthew Ryan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryan Bowman in the 66th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Humphrey Johnston's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carter Glover was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Kewell's zone, Rex Nelson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carter Glover came out of the goal and Rex Nelson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 80 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Biala's Humphrey Johnston fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 82ndth minute of the game Rex Nelson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kewell's Carter Glover was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carter Glover took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorimer Fison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baxter Adair sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jordon Smoothey's late challenge caught a Biala's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jordon Smoothey helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd minute, Jordon Smoothey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Duncan Callaghan, 93 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Rex Nelson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Biala had played much better football throughout.
