Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Hank Munster made the kick off and thus started the match. Stanley Maybury made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hank Munster in the 3rd minute of play. In the 6th minute, Brendon Wakefield hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stanley Maybury made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Myles Obree sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Scorpion United FC defense, Myles Obree kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stanley Maybury. The Scorpion United FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stanley Maybury should have stopped the shot. Stanley Maybury came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Lowmead's Hank Munster. But to his dismay, Hank Munster quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Hank Munster received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Stanley Maybury came out and tried to block the shot, but Hank Munster slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 25th minute. After a rather tough play, Lowmead's Keith Fulton got a free kick in the 28th minute. The Lowmead fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Lowmead's Myles Obree looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Myles Obree sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Hank Munster, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 40 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Stanley Maybury was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. A collision led to Scorpion United FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Damon Cubitt hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Hank Munster managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lowmead's supporters rose to their feet, but Hank Munster was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stanley Maybury breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Myles Obree fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stanley Maybury having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patrick Waterland to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Hank Munster got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Myles Obree received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Stanley Maybury tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute Hank Munster shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanley Maybury saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stanley Maybury came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Lowmead's Myles Obree. But to his dismay, Myles Obree quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After 84 minutes of play, Lowmead's Hank Munster made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stanley Maybury was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Scorpion United FC's zone, Hank Munster stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stanley Maybury came out of the goal and Hank Munster tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute, Herman Quinnell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Hank Munster came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Lowmead fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hank Munster couldn't finish the play. Myles Obree struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Stanley Maybury didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lowmead.
