Scorpion United FC's Stanley Maybury played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billy Tearle in the 5th minute of play. Charles Glover fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stanley Maybury having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Charles Glover got free with Stanley Maybury in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 10 minutes, Damon Cubitt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Scorpion United FC and the Moutajup players grew even worse after the yellow card. Stanley Maybury acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 11th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Brayden Mckinnes. Charles Glover who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Stanley Maybury when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Billy Tearle in the 14th minute of play forced Scorpion United FC's goalkeeper Stanley Maybury to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Billy Tearle reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Stanley Maybury. The goal made the score 1-0. Billy Tearle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stanley Maybury having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mark Gissane during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Charles Glover got free with Stanley Maybury in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Scorpion United FC booed when Moutajup was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Best Fieldhouse didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Scorpion United FC's Damon Cubitt got a free kick in the 27th minute. Charles Glover in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Stanley Maybury, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 34 minutes into the match, Moutajup's Billy Tearle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stanley Maybury narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The wind increased when Patrick Waterland made the kick off in the second half. Charles Glover fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stanley Maybury having to interfere. When Moutajup's Charles Glover in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Scorpion United FC's goalie prevented a goal. Ike Heathwood fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benny Brennan having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Billy Tearle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moutajup's supporters rose to their feet, but Billy Tearle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stanley Maybury breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patrick Waterland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 80 minutes of play Scorpion United FC's Damon Cubitt was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 80 played minutes Scorpion United FC got a freekick which was hit by Damon Cubitt. In the 81st minute of the match Brayden Mckinnes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stanley Maybury skillfully saved the ball. Brayden Mckinnes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Stanley Maybury. Scorpion United FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Billy Tearle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Stanley Maybury tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Billy Tearle blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stanley Maybury having to make a save. Charles Glover sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 98 minutes, Charles Glover managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moutajup's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charles Glover was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
