Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Corey Beverley made the kick off which started today's match. In the 2nd match minute, Broula was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brookes Boothey to maneuver through the defense. Olin Keam could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Carsyn Quelch made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Broula's zone, Olin Keam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carsyn Quelch came out of the goal and Olin Keam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Bryan Powderham came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Geringong fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bryan Powderham couldn't finish the play. Geringong's Corey Beverley got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Olin Keam put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Carsyn Quelch. After a defensive mix-up in Broula's zone, Olin Keam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carsyn Quelch came out of the goal and Olin Keam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute, Bryan Powderham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the game, Broula's Braedan Brophy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Niles Didlock made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The Broula fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Broula's Iggi Ludwick looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Olin Keam came free with the goalkeeper in the 39th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Carsyn Quelch could save by the left post. Carsyn Quelch made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Olin Keam sent off a good shot on target. Broula's Carsyn Quelch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Broula from getting a goal against them. Carsyn Quelch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olin Keam in the 44th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iggi Ludwick was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Geringong's goal looked a bit too open when Iggi Ludwick came free, but Niles Didlock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute of the match Earl Rear shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carsyn Quelch showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Braedan Brophy came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Broula fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Braedan Brophy couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Geringong's Lewis Unicomb got a free kick in the 59th minute. If Olin Keam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Olin Keam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geringong's Corey Beverley got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iggi Ludwick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niles Didlock having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Corey Beverley's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carsyn Quelch was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. In the 84th minute, Burtt Schutt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brookes Boothey during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Brookes Boothey kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Olin Keam might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carsyn Quelch. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olin Keam ran back to his position shaking his head. 92 minutes into the match, Broula's goal looked a bit too open when Corey Beverley came free, but Carsyn Quelch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Niles Didlock managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Broula's Braedan Brophy fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Carsyn Quelch stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olin Keam's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. Although Geringong had been in control for most of the match, Broula still came away with the win.
