Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Tonga's Brand Millgate started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andy Johnson got free with Niles Didlock in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brand Millgate in the 13th minute of play forced Geringong's goalkeeper Niles Didlock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Biggs Warren hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Geringong's goalkeeper Niles Didlock, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Niles Didlock made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brand Millgate in the 18th minute of play. Andy Johnson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Niles Didlock made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brand Millgate in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Niles Didlock prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 21 played minutes Geringong got a freekick which was hit by Andres Petty. Niles Didlock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brand Millgate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andy Johnson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brand Millgate in the 32nd minute of play forced Geringong's goalkeeper Niles Didlock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Geringong defense, Andy Johnson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Niles Didlock. The Geringong fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niles Didlock should have stopped the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Niles Didlock successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Niles Didlock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brand Millgate in the 41st minute of the match. Irwin Johnston kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After having played for 43 minutes, Corey Beverley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Geringong's supporters crossed their fingers, but Corey Beverley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Irwin Johnston charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Irwin Johnston the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 45 played minutes Tonga got a freekick which was hit by Irwin Johnston. Jamese Bleazard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Corey Beverley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Olin Keam managed to get in a good position for a shot. Geringong's supporters rose to their feet, but Olin Keam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jamese Bleazard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Geringong's Lewis Unicomb got a free kick in the 61st minute. After recieving a nice pass, Tonga's Jasmine Turnor tried to score from far away in the 62nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Olin Keam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andy Johnson scored 2-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Niles Didlock, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tonga's Jamese Bleazard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corey Beverley in the 70th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Andy Johnson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niles Didlock. Geringong's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andy Johnson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 83rd minute, Corey Beverley fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jamese Bleazard, passed just outside the right post. 91 minutes into the match, Tonga's goalkeeper Jamese Bleazard had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olin Keam. Jamese Bleazard didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 94th minute, which inside left pole to 3-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tonga fans cheered their team off the field, for while Geringong had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
