Olin Keam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the match, Ozenkadnook's goal looked a bit too open when Corey Beverley came free, but Burns Minton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Russ Veitch in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Niles Didlock, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ozenkadnook's Burns Minton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olin Keam in the 22nd minute of play. In the 28thth minute of the game Darley Gavin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Geringong's Niles Didlock was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jesse Muncaster took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Burns Minton. Ozenkadnook's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bryan Powderham charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bryan Powderham the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bryan Powderham kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ozenkadnook's zone, Corey Beverley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Burns Minton came out of the goal and Corey Beverley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Niles Didlock didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ozenkadnook's Darley Gavin shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Olin Keam struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Burns Minton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Geringong.

After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Darley Gavin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ozenkadnook's supporters rose to their feet, but Darley Gavin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niles Didlock breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Andres Petty fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th minute, Ozenkadnook's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Corey Beverley fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Geringong's Niles Didlock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darley Gavin in the 98th minute of play.
