Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Iggi Ludwick started the match with the kick off. Andy Johnson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Carsyn Quelch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6th minute, Brand Millgate ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carsyn Quelch was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 12th minute Brand Millgate shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carsyn Quelch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Tonga's Brand Millgate nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carsyn Quelch made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Broula's Carsyn Quelch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andy Johnson in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to Tonga getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Pete Lawrence hit a great ball. Braedan Brophy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 25 played minutes, Broula's Brannan Block shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jamese Bleazard came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Broula reached it. Pete Lawrence sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Brand Millgate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Brand Millgate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Carsyn Quelch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andy Johnson scored 0-3 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carsyn Quelch, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Carsyn Quelch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Johnson in the 40th minute of the match. Irwin Johnston's late challenge caught a Broula's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Irwin Johnston helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Tonga getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Irwin Johnston hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Andy Johnson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tonga's supporters rose to their feet, but Andy Johnson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carsyn Quelch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brand Millgate struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Carsyn Quelch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tonga. Brookes Boothey charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brookes Boothey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Broula's zone, Andy Johnson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carsyn Quelch came out of the goal and Andy Johnson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brand Millgate was the one to do the kick off. If Iggi Ludwick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the match, Tonga's Brand Millgate sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carsyn Quelch narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Broula booed when Tonga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Irwin Johnston didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute, Iggi Ludwick got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Brand Millgate came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Tonga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brand Millgate couldn't finish the play. Broula's Brookes Boothey got his second yellow card of the match in the 68th minute. The referee ordered Brookes Boothey off the ground. A collision led to Broula getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Brookes Boothey hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andy Johnson got free with Carsyn Quelch in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 70th minute, Burtt Schutt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brand Millgate was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 71st minute. Tonga's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iggi Ludwick during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Iggi Ludwick hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Carsyn Quelch didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brand Millgate went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. If Andy Johnson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Brett Curtis fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Broula's protests and gave Brett Curtis a yellow card for diving instead. After 82 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Broula! Carsyn Quelch went to the wrong direction when Jasmine Turnor was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Brand Millgate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Carsyn Quelch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfred Franklin hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Brand Millgate's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carsyn Quelch was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Tonga's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
