Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ryan Fortington started the match with the kick off. Rich Allen had several of the liverpola's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 3 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Darley Kean as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 6th minute, Rolando Jobson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Darley Kean was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 11thth minute of the game Ryan Fortington who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grove's Martin Gorham was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Grove's Rich Allen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Darley Kean narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Anthony Hinwood hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Darley Kean made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Rolando Jobson sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cullen Worsley during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 23 played minutes Grove got a freekick which was hit by Cullen Worsley. In the 24th minute, Ryan Fortington left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The liverpola fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. When Rolando Jobson came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Grove fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolando Jobson couldn't finish the play. If Ryan Fortington had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to liverpola getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Darrell Harkness hit a great ball. When Rich Allen came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Grove fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rich Allen couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, liverpola's Darley Kean got control of the ball when Rolando Jobson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Darley Kean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rich Allen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

In the 52nd minute Rich Allen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darley Kean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as liverpola's Ryan Fortington slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Martin Gorham. That made the score 2-2 after 53 minutes of play. Rolando Jobson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Darley Kean read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. After 63 minutes of play, Grove's Rolando Jobson made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Darley Kean was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rich Allen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Darley Kean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 67 played minutes Grove got a freekick which was hit by Cullen Worsley. Martin Gorham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryan Fortington, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Ryan Fortington managed to get in a good position for a shot. liverpola's supporters rose to their feet, but Ryan Fortington was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Gorham breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched liverpola eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
