Murphy Boneheyo in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Quade Franklin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Conner Atterton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. With his leg Fletcher Moon managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Panthers's Murphy Boneheyo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Panthers's Conner Atterton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ozzie Hands in the 13th minute of play. Conner Atterton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quade Franklin in the 15th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Panthers's goal looked a bit too open when Quade Franklin came free, but Conner Atterton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute of the match, Murphy Boneheyo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fletcher Moon was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Matthew Powell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conner Atterton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliot Bostock in the 31st minute of play. Ozzie Hands received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Conner Atterton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Quade Franklin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 41 played minutes Panthers got a freekick which was hit by Ned Stevens. In the 44th match minute, Yakapari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Tenser to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Dalton Jackson hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute Murphy Boneheyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fletcher Moon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ozzie Hands sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Quade Franklin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conner Atterton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ozzie Hands, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Panthers's Conner Atterton got control of the ball when Quade Franklin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Conner Atterton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yakapari. Conner Atterton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Quade Franklin went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Quade Franklin struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Conner Atterton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yakapari. When the final whistle sounded Yakapari left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Panthers.
