Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Russ Natt kicked off to start the match. Samuel Pywell kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Neale Peach came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Bushfield's Russ Natt. But to his dismay, Russ Natt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Carsyn Ashwin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Joseph Breasley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 14 minutes, Todd Glover made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Bushfield's Joseph Breasley tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. PEI United's Todd Glover got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Joseph Breasley managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when PEI United's Carsyn Ashwin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 22 minutes, Todd Glover managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PEI United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Todd Glover was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Todd Glover sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marshall Sobezak kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 38th minute of the game, Hank Lenard landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. In the 40th minute, Samuel Pywell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bushfield fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Samuel Pywell, 44 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Joseph Breasley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Todd Glover in the 47th minute of play. If Carsyn Ashwin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carsyn Ashwin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Abraham Block kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. If Todd Glover had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 56 minutes, Carsyn Ashwin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PEI United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carsyn Ashwin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Russ Natt fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bushfield's protests and gave Russ Natt a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th minute, Russ Natt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute Samuel Pywell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Neale Peach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bushfield's Joseph Breasley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carsyn Ashwin in the 68th minute of play. A hard shot 71 in the game by Samuel Pywell from a close distance when the talented Neale Peach managed to make a qualified save. PEI United's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Samuel Pywell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bushfield's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuel Pywell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Neale Peach breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brooks Knevett's late challenge caught a PEI United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brooks Knevett helped the player get up and apologised. Todd Glover recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Samuel Pywell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Neale Peach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abbott Butterworth kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the game, Bushfield's Samuel Pywell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Neale Peach made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see PEI United lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
