In the 4th minute, Murdock Fallen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, PEI United's Neale Peach got control of the ball when Murdock Fallen tried to sneak it across the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, PEI United's goalkeeper Neale Peach had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Murdock Fallen. PEI United's Neale Peach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barry Keayes in the 14th minute of play. A collision led to PEI United getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Marshall Sobezak hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in PEI United's zone, Murdock Fallen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Neale Peach came out of the goal and Murdock Fallen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Barry Keayes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Neale Peach came out and tried to block the shot, but Barry Keayes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 20th minute. With a little luck, PEI United's Neale Peach got control of the ball when Murdock Fallen tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 25th minute, Todd Glover left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PEI United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. PEI United's Neale Peach proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save PEI United from getting a goal against them. Carsyn Ashwin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Bishop Clark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bishop Clark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carsyn Ashwin in the 40th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Carsyn Ashwin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PEI United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. PEI United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Carsyn Ashwin in the 49th minute.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Barry Keayes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, one of PEI United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Barnabas Watts placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 58th minute, Barry Keayes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kurrara fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Neale Peach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barry Keayes in the 61st minute of the match. Murdock Fallen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Neale Peach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Carsyn Ashwin managed to get in a good position for a shot. PEI United's supporters rose to their feet, but Carsyn Ashwin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bishop Clark breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Carsyn Ashwin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Todd Glover managed to get in a good position for a shot. PEI United's supporters rose to their feet, but Todd Glover was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bishop Clark breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of PEI United booed when Kurrara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicholas Gruer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Neale Peach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barry Keayes in the 83rd minute of play. Bishop Clark took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Todd Glover, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicholas Gruer kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Barry Keayes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Neale Peach. PEI United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Barry Keayes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-4. PEI United's Carsyn Ashwin got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 97 minutes into the game, Carsyn Ashwin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PEI United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kurrara the free kick. Despite being the better team, PEI United failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
