Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Brookes Gannan started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute Brookes Gannan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Skittrall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the game, Roy Thorne was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Banyena's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Belmunging the free kick. Adolfo Skittrall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brookes Gannan in the 15th minute of the match. A collision led to Banyena getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Matt Fazey hit a great ball. Adolfo Skittrall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Bowie, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Abraham Mundine stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andy Tevelien's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Jamie Gummow could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Abraham Mundine made a huge save. In the 29th minute Banyena were awarded a corner. Remington Caddick went to the cornerflag to take it. Belmunging's Abraham Mundine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andy Tevelien in the 36th minute of play. Banyena's Adolfo Skittrall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Bowie in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rdth minute of the game Brookes Gannan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Banyena's Adolfo Skittrall was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Belmunging's Kevin Bowie sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adolfo Skittrall narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Brookes Gannan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Skittrall having to interfere. The Banyena players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Belmunging were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andy Tevelien was the one to do the kick off. Jagger Lord sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th match minute, Banyena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roy Thorne to maneuver through the defense. Kevin Bowie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Skittrall having to interfere. After 59th play minutes Kevin Bowie shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Adolfo Skittrall and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Banyena booed when Belmunging was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Marcola didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Belmunging's goal looked a bit too open when Andy Tevelien came free, but Abraham Mundine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andy Tevelien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Abraham Mundine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kevin Bowie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Banyena's Adolfo Skittrall got control of the ball when Kevin Bowie tried to sneak it across the goal line. Brookes Gannan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Skittrall having to interfere. Brookes Gannan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Adolfo Skittrall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Banyena's Adolfo Skittrall proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Banyena from getting a goal against them. Brookes Gannan might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adolfo Skittrall. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brookes Gannan ran back to his position shaking his head. Dalton Muller hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Andy Tevelien took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abraham Mundine. Abraham Mundine dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 97th match minute, Banyena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matt Fazey to maneuver through the defense. Belmunging's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
