Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Corey Tresise kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, Koumala FC's Corey Tresise nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin Legg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Phillip Diefenbach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthias Renny, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Martin Legg came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Koumala FC's Brayden Cudmore. But to his dismay, Brayden Cudmore quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Ridgley's Fleming Ross got a free kick in the 17th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Corey Tresise had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martin Legg. Ridgley's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Corey Tresise was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Jason Brien hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, Earnest Algoud reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Phillip Diefenbach. The goal made the score 1-3. Jake Heathwood struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Martin Legg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Koumala FC. Phillip Diefenbach made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Matthias Renny sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brayden Cudmore in the 43rd minute of play forced Ridgley's goalkeeper Martin Legg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Phillip Diefenbach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthias Renny, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. 47 minutes into the game, one of Koumala FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 49 minutes, Ridgley's Jacob Connolly got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Phillip Diefenbach.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jacob Connolly was the one to do the kick off. Koumala FC's Phillip Diefenbach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthias Renny in the 61st minute of play. After 63 minutes of play, Ridgley's Matthias Renny made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Phillip Diefenbach was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthias Renny in the 66th minute of play forced Koumala FC's goalkeeper Phillip Diefenbach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Koumala FC's Phillip Diefenbach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacob Connolly in the 71st minute of play. Phillip Diefenbach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthias Renny in the 81st minute of the match. Connor Rear hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the match, Koumala FC's goal looked a bit too open when Matthias Renny came free, but Phillip Diefenbach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Earnest Algoud in the 94th minute of play forced Koumala FC's goalkeeper Phillip Diefenbach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jake Heathwood recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacob Connolly in the 97th minute of play forced Koumala FC's goalkeeper Phillip Diefenbach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
