Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Berke Sugden got the match started through his kick off. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Berke Sugden put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jason Moon. 21 minutes into the game, Elliott Turnbull cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Dino Zoff was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 23rd match minute, Latrobe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Didlock to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Latrobe booed when Grandchester FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Irwin Gronow didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grandchester FC's Dino Zoff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rusty Petersen in the 28th minute of play. Berke Sugden's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Jason Moon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jason Moon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Berke Sugden in the 35th minute. 36 minutes into the game, one of Latrobe:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jess Kinnaird charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jess Kinnaird the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 42 played minutes Latrobe got a freekick which was hit by Jess Kinnaird. In the 43rd minute of the match Jamese Phillips shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jason Moon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Berke Sugden could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Jason Moon made a huge save.

In the 52nd minute of the match, Elliott Turnbull tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dino Zoff saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 54 minutes into the match, Jess Kinnaird had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dino Zoff. Grandchester FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jess Kinnaird was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Jess Kinnaird received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Dino Zoff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Irwin Gronow hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Grandchester FC's Dino Zoff proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Grandchester FC from getting a goal against them. In the 64th minute Elliott Turnbull shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Zoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Latrobe's Jess Kinnaird got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Berke Sugden's late challenge caught a Latrobe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Berke Sugden helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th match minute, Grandchester FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berke Sugden to maneuver through the defense. Latrobe's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rusty Petersen in the 72nd minute. The corner ended in Rusty Petersen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Grandchester FC's Dino Zoff did a great save. Jason Moon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berke Sugden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Berke Sugden notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Latrobe's Jason Moon. Jason Moon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dino Zoff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elliott Turnbull in the 92nd minute of the match. Jason Moon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradley Goodbun in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute Elliott Turnbull shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Zoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Grandchester FC had won after a very even match.
