Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Brent Tupman started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Jimmy Team's goal looked a bit too open when Brent Tupman came free, but Jess Vickery reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tom Millar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th match minute, Bonegilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Porter Coleman to maneuver through the defense. Dacosta Mitchell struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Bill Mcwilliam didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jimmy Team. Darrell Cubitt came free with the goalkeeper in the 12th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jess Vickery could save by the left post. In the 16th minute, Stew Dollymore ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bill Mcwilliam was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 23rd minute, Jimmy Team's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Darrell Cubitt fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Chuck Shearn hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the game, Marcus Sperling was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jimmy Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bonegilla the free kick. The supporters of Bonegilla booed when Jimmy Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcus Sperling didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Jimmy Team's Tom Millar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bill Mcwilliam made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The supporters of Bonegilla booed when Jimmy Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bryant Durbridge didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jess Vickery acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 34th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Christopher Arkinstall. Darrell Cubitt scored 1-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jess Vickery, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Bonegilla players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Jimmy Team were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tom Millar made a kick off. Jess Vickery showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stewart Wang in the 51st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tom Millar in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bill Mcwilliam prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 56th minute, David Mogork hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 61 played minutes Bonegilla got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Jobson. With his leg Bill Mcwilliam managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Jimmy Team's Tom Millar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jess Vickery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brent Tupman, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. When Robert Quinane fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bonegilla's protests and gave Robert Quinane a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th minute, Robert Quinane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute, Christopher Arkinstall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 70 played minutes Jimmy Team got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Sperling. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darrell Cubitt in the 72nd minute of play forced Jimmy Team's goalkeeper Jess Vickery to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcus Sperling got his second yellow card in the match during the 72nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Bonegilla booed when Jimmy Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcus Sperling didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute, Tom Millar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 77 played minutes, Bonegilla's Abraham Hitchen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jess Vickery came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bonegilla reached it. Jimmy Team's attentive Bryant Durbridge managed to snatch the ball when Abraham Hitchen made a throw-in in the 84th minute of the game. Jess Vickery showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brent Tupman in the 87th minute of the match. Stew Dollymore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bryant Durbridge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darrell Cubitt in the 95th minute of play forced Jimmy Team's goalkeeper Jess Vickery to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Jimmy Team eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
