Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Duncan Oneill got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Bonegilla's zone, Lowrey Bundy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bill Mcwilliam came out of the goal and Lowrey Bundy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tom Seistrup made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darrell Cubitt in the 7th minute of play. Bill Mcwilliam had great luck who in the 11thth minute grab hold of the ball when Lowrey Bundy from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 13 minutes into the match, Adelaide United FC's Lowrey Bundy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bill Mcwilliam narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tom Seistrup took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stewart Wang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lowrey Bundy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Brent Tupman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tom Seistrup. Adelaide United FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Brent Tupman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Stewart Wang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Darrell Cubitt made a precise shot to the right of Tom Seistrup. Adelaide United FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 47th minute, Brent Tupman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tom Seistrup was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brent Tupman made a kick off. A collision led to Adelaide United FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Barry Laws hit a great ball. Tom Seistrup acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 54th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Baxter Surman. Tom Seistrup didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brent Tupman went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. A hard shot 63 in the game by Darrell Cubitt from a close distance when the talented Tom Seistrup managed to make a qualified save. Adelaide United FC's players were relieved. Tom Seistrup made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brent Tupman in the 64th minute of play. In the 68th minute Handley Pearce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Seistrup saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Bonegilla's goal looked a bit too open when Duncan Oneill came free, but Bill Mcwilliam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Adelaide United FC's Lowrey Bundy in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bonegilla's goalie prevented a goal. When Lowrey Bundy came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Adelaide United FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lowrey Bundy couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Bonegilla booed when Adelaide United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barry Laws didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Adelaide United FC's Tom Seistrup got control of the ball when Robert Quinane tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adelaide United FC's Tom Seistrup proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Adelaide United FC from getting a goal against them. Adelaide United FC's Tom Seistrup played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brent Tupman in the 87th minute of play. Bonegilla's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
