Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eden Forrest took the kick off in the first half of the match. Boyd Warren hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. When Boyd Warren fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rockwell's protests and gave Boyd Warren a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rockwell fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 8th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Corella a penalty, 10 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eden Forrest, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Rockwell's Stew Lovis. 0-1. Eden Forrest took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stew Lovis. Stew Lovis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Corella's Brannan Stevens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danton Awage in the 19th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Justin Kuch during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Justin Kuch was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 25 minutes had been played. Justin Kuch kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Neale Pound fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stew Lovis having to interfere. If Brent Moran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brent Lonergan got free with Brannan Stevens in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Neale Pound struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Stew Lovis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corella. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Dacosta Mcgaw recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stew Lovis made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Neale Pound sent off a good shot on target. In the 59th minute, Neale Pound got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 64th minute, Brent Moran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 68th minute, Danton Awage left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rockwell fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Corbett Rennie might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stew Lovis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Corbett Rennie ran back to his position shaking his head. Brannan Stevens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danton Awage, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81stth minute of the game Danton Awage who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corella's Brannan Stevens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Corella getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Corbett Rennie hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the match, Corella's goal looked a bit too open when Brent Lonergan came free, but Brannan Stevens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neale Pound sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Corella left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rockwell.
