Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Murmungee's zone, Bruno Glover stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rex Fieldhouse came out of the goal and Bruno Glover tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 4 minutes, Barnett Baxter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Murmungee's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barnett Baxter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 7 played minutes Neoteric FC got a freekick which was hit by Lewis Salcedo. In the 8th minute, Iggy Boylin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Neoteric FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Philip Bromfield hit a great ball. When Murmungee's Barnett Baxter in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Neoteric FC's goalie prevented a goal. Matthias Tongs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barnett Baxter in the 19th minute of play. After 20 played minutes Neoteric FC got a freekick which was hit by Doyle Tarrant. The nice shot from Corbett Wenham in the 25thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Matthias Tongs had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Matthias Tongs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barnett Baxter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Douglas Schultz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute, Corbett Wenham left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Murmungee fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Bruno Glover made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Burt Hart got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bruno Glover fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rex Fieldhouse having to interfere. Rex Fieldhouse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Burt Hart, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After 61 played minutes Murmungee got a freekick which was hit by Connor Hanlen. 62 minutes into the match, Alex Alwege sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Rex Fieldhouse threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Alex Alwege this time. Alex Alwege hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After 68 played minutes Neoteric FC got a freekick which was hit by Alex Alwege. In the 69th minute of the match Jarrett Millard shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Matthias Tongs showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Murmungee booed when Neoteric FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philip Bromfield didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matthias Tongs stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Corbett Wenham's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. After a rather tough play, Murmungee's Douglas Schultz got a free kick in the 76th minute. Burt Hart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rex Fieldhouse having to interfere. When Bjorn Cassilly fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Neoteric FC's protests and gave Bjorn Cassilly a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Neoteric FC's Bjorn Cassilly got a free kick in the 80th minute. Matthias Tongs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barnett Baxter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the game, Bruno Glover recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rex Fieldhouse. Bruno Glover showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 87 minutes into the match, Neoteric FC's Joseph Caddick sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rex Fieldhouse narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Barnett Baxter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 91 minutes into the match, Murmungee's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Glover came free, but Rex Fieldhouse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Murmungee's Rex Fieldhouse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Glover in the 92nd minute of play. After having played for 94 minutes, Joseph Caddick managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Neoteric FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joseph Caddick was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matthias Tongs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corbett Wenham in the 98th minute of the match. Despite being the better team, Neoteric FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
