In the 3rd match minute, Red Devils United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Arkinstall to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Red Devils United's goalkeeper Barnes Hunter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 10th minute, Roy Mudie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damon Blackham took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Barnes Hunter. Barnes Hunter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, Red Devils United's goal looked a bit too open when Damon Blackham came free, but Barnes Hunter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, Jacobs Gracey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dan Hodson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Barnes Hunter. Red Devils United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Red Devils United's goal looked a bit too open when Damon Blackham came free, but Barnes Hunter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacobs Barker hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Bern Pears sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Red Devils United's Barnes Hunter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobs Barker in the 33rd minute of play. Barnes Hunter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jacobs Barker went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 37 minutes into the game, Kalkee's Damon Blackham nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Barnes Hunter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Damon Blackham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roy Mudie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Everett Wege tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 46 minutes, Raymond James managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Red Devils United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raymond James was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Red Devils United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kalkee were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bern Pears stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jacobs Barker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Barnes Hunter made a huge save. After 65 played minutes Kalkee got a freekick which was hit by Brockman Hunter. Jacobs Barker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 74 played minutes Damon Blackham could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 0-5 into the left cross. Jacobs Barker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Barnes Hunter was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Damon Blackham capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Damon Blackham really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Raymond James fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everett Wege having to interfere. Barnes Hunter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damon Blackham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Kalkee's goal looked a bit too open when Bern Pears came free, but Everett Wege reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeffray Hess hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Jacobs Barker's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Barnes Hunter skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damon Blackham in the 95th minute of play forced Red Devils United's goalkeeper Barnes Hunter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Kalkee walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
