Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Bern Pears started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bern Pears got free with Brayden Kayrooz in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Barnes Hunter came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Japoon's Battle Hines. But to his dismay, Battle Hines quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Barnes Hunter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Battle Hines in the 12th minute of play. Japoon's Brayden Kayrooz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raymond James in the 18th minute of play. Japoon's Brayden Kayrooz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Japoon from getting a goal against them. Kane Johnston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barnes Hunter having to interfere. Barnes Hunter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Battle Hines, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 29th minute, Red Devils United's Ivan Bonham seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ivan Bonham the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Red Devils United protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ivan Bonham had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 28 minutes into the game, one of Red Devils United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Japoon a penalty, 31 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Carmichael Solomon, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Red Devils United's Barnes Hunter. 0-2. If Raymond James had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Battle Hines in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Barnes Hunter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Battle Hines made the kick off in the second half. Barnes Hunter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Battle Hines, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute, Battle Hines reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Barnes Hunter. The goal made the score 0-4. Red Devils United's Barnes Hunter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Red Devils United from getting a goal against them. In the 84th minute Rusty Letsch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barnes Hunter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Japoon's Battle Hines in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Red Devils United's goalie prevented a goal. Barnes Hunter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damon Dollymore in the 87th minute of play. Japoon's Conner Carbery was substituted for Rusty Letsch. The throw-in from Antonio Weeks in the 92nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Red Devils United's Bruno Arkinstall. The Red Devils United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Japoon were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
