Pimpana's Brian Diefenbach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nero Dollymore in the 12th minute of play. Loud Mewburn's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Browne Muncaster firmly grabbed it by the left post. 24 minutes into the match, Byaduk's goalkeeper Browne Muncaster had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Loud Mewburn. In the 26th minute, Pimpana's Darell Morey ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Browne Muncaster. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Byaduk's Nero Dollymore got a free kick in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loud Mewburn in the 41st minute of play forced Byaduk's goalkeeper Browne Muncaster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 45 minutes, Barnett Stanton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pimpana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barnett Stanton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Loud Mewburn to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Byaduk getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Aden Worrall hit a great ball. In the 55th minute, Loud Mewburn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Browne Muncaster was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Barnett Stanton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Browne Muncaster showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barnett Stanton, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 66 minutes into the match, Byaduk's goal looked a bit too open when Barnett Stanton came free, but Browne Muncaster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brian Diefenbach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kris Reiter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Browne Muncaster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loud Mewburn in the 84th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Couzens in the 88th minute of play forced Pimpana's goalkeeper Brian Diefenbach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nero Dollymore's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Brian Diefenbach firmly grabbed it by the left post. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Pimpana had played much better football throughout.
