Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 7 minutes, Ike Erwin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clanside FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ike Erwin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 8 minutes into the match, Clanside FC's goal looked a bit too open when Max Gissane came free, but Darin Gracey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clanside FC's Carsyn Howarth got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 11 minutes into the game, Clanside FC's Bishop Toomey nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Furkan Sweet made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 15th minute, Hal Coldicutt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Max Gissane in the 17th minute of play forced Clanside FC's goalkeeper Darin Gracey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Furkan Sweet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carsyn Howarth in the 20th minute of play. Furkan Sweet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carsyn Howarth in the 24th minute of the match. After 26 played minutes Clanside FC got a freekick which was hit by Bray Millar. The crowd rose to their feet as Duffield United's Max Gissane slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Darin Gracey. That made the score 1-1 after 29 minutes of play. 34 minutes into the match, Duffield United's goal looked a bit too open when Carsyn Howarth came free, but Furkan Sweet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Duffield United booed when Clanside FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cliff Cameron didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hal Coldicutt charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hal Coldicutt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 41 minutes into the game, one of Clanside FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Duffield United's Ryan Renshaw quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Cliff Cameron, made in the 45th minute of the game. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Bray Millar made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfred Olejasz in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Darin Gracey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 53 minutes into the match, Clanside FC's goal looked a bit too open when Max Gissane came free, but Darin Gracey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Furkan Sweet made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Carsyn Howarth sent off a good shot on target. Hal Coldicutt hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Alfred Olejasz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darin Gracey having to interfere. Duffield United's Furkan Sweet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Duffield United from getting a goal against them. In the 69th minute Alfred Olejasz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darin Gracey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Darin Gracey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hal Schonke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Duffield United's Furkan Sweet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Duffield United from getting a goal against them. Max Gissane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darin Gracey having to interfere. Bray Millar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Furkan Sweet having to interfere. Darin Gracey came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Duffield United's Max Gissane. But to his dismay, Max Gissane quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 93rd minute, Alfred Olejasz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 94 minutes, Bishop Toomey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clanside FC and the Duffield United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Duffield United walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
