Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Murphey Muddle took the kick off in the first half of the match. Max Gissane struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Randell Malacarne didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Duffield United. Hal Schonke kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Brynn Berresford struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Furkan Sweet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glenferrie. Furkan Sweet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Murphey Muddle in the 21st minute. Furkan Sweet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Broderick Johnston in the 22nd minute of play. Murphey Muddle struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Furkan Sweet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glenferrie. Randell Malacarne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Cameron in the 31st minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Glenferrie's Carmichael Cootes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Furkan Sweet. Furkan Sweet yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Murphey Muddle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute, Hal Schonke left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Duffield United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Max Gissane to strike the kick off in the second half. When Glenferrie's Murphey Muddle in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Duffield United's goalie prevented a goal. Glenferrie's Randell Malacarne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Gissane in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Glenferrie's goalkeeper Randell Malacarne had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albert Cameron. Furkan Sweet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murphey Muddle in the 57th minute of the match. Murphey Muddle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute, Max Gissane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 69 minutes into the match, Duffield United's goal looked a bit too open when Carmichael Cootes came free, but Furkan Sweet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute of the game Ace Carnduff made a throw-in which Bryant Cudmore played forward. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Murphey Muddle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glenferrie's supporters rose to their feet, but Murphey Muddle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Furkan Sweet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Murphey Fenwick kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Albert Cameron hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Alfred Olejasz charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfred Olejasz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A throw-in in the 89th minute of the game was made by Ace Carnduff with Carmichael Cootes as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 91 minutes into the match, Hal Schonke dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Randell Malacarne, 1-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Duffield United eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
